So we can see from these two hexagrams
that they do not conform to the standard whereby C becomes G and G
becomes C when it moves from bottom to top if it did conform they
would look like this.
The odd things about these pairings is
that if they were conforming their numbers no longer match. At least
now though they match up as one phobic and one philic (or neutral).
So there are good and bad reasons for them to be mismatched.
CGG as an example: flipped
As you can see the different three
letter codons seen here are CCG, GCC, CGG, and GGC if we do GCC we
will end up with the same four variations. So these two hexagrams are
very much alike. The actual hexagrams match up to the Nine Star Ki
numbers but do not switch to their complimentary opposites they
remain the same even after crossing to the top. They all make
different amino acids but there has to be a reason they do not
conform. I wonder why?
