Its interesting my career was in the world of fasteners square washers with round holes (Heaven on Earth) and round washers with square holes (Earth on Heaven)….. Heaven is associated with everything round and the Earth with squares. (Left side) Heaven on Earth hides Earth on Heaven beneath it. (Right hand side) Earth on Heaven shows Heaven on Earth beneath it. Earth on Heaven is said to cause distress as represented by the Hexagram 11 but Heaven on Earth is Pi…….or learning to just say NO to the wrong things in life…Hexagram 12…so they may just be washers to you but to me they say so much more….don’t even get me started on the nut and bolt…. the thread doesn’t go to the top of a bolt but a screw on the other hand has the ability to move the nut from top to bottom……I wonder if bolts are just waking up and screws are fully awake. Well I did say I sold nuts…..maybe its rubbed off on me.
Together they create all that is possible. x
