Patterns in The Double Numbers of Nine Star Ki…….

 Let;s take another look at the double numbers and how they sit in The I Ching Hexagram map based on the numbers 28143976……….

Map A…..

We see the flow of the numbers both flipped and on top I have also added to the centre the number 5’s and they do appear to be needed and are definitely used in Nine Star Ki….

Map B…..

Map C…..

Map D…..

….and finally the double numbers themselves….

Map E…..

In this map I have created a triangle between the numbers and their double across the centre.

Interestingly if you were to fold this E map over diagonally from top left to bottom right you will be folding them onto their partners e.g. 1/7 with 7/1. Much like this half pattern brooch……with the double numbers across the top….

Here we have the same maps but the red line shows us the top numbers the blue line the flipped numbers and the green line connects the two. 

Map E does not need the green line as they are double numbers …..

How much tighter the D patterns are closer to centre. Enjoy your thinking. X
