A game made easy with Lego creates all Nine Star Ki numbers 1 to 9 at the centre baguas and from there you spread out to create the crucifix which in turns becomes the cube…..

So we see the repeating patterns here even if they are with different colours…lets start a game with 9 at the centre, first the bagua for 9 then what you know already can be added…
Here we have added a lot to the centre Bagua because we know if its a cube the sides will be seen on top and beneath and all centres hold the number 9 so now we have got the game started…
The next stage is to add the corners and we can see from all the other numbers that the three piece corners of the previous image are the same as the outer points diagonally …
Here we have added more pieces by seeking out the patterns in the full crucifix and seeing where it repeats…
Again seek out those patterns…..
…and hey presto we have filled the crucifix. Now we need to take that cross and make it a cube…
