More tales from Stonehenge……here we have 8 octaves in circular form curving around each other like Archimedes Spiral each line an octave containing either one or two notes and if you draw a line to them each contains a line that would be 210* of a circle. This is called a perfect fifth in music and contains no dissonant sounds before returning to the beginning as an end. Notice how the earlier dots are natural keys mostly and the inner ones mostly sharps.
8 Octaves of 210* angles starting on the left and ending in the same place in one continuous line. No other aspect does this in astrology so it is unique in this way. Let’s move away all the bits and get a clearer picture of what we are creating here. . .As we suspected we have created two pentagons one small at the centre mainly sharp notes and one bigger outside with mainly natural notes.
So we have created this pattern as a result of lines to lines, notes to notes all connected with the 210* aspect or the Perfect Fifth. It draws one continuous line from start back to start. I wonder what would happen if we tried to create a Tritone pattern, I suspect it will not draw one continuous line it may be very different. Well done to the people who brought those Blue Stones weighing about 4 tons each all the way from the Presili Hills in Pembrokeshire, Wales to Salisbury.
I went on holiday to Stonehenge in my early 20’s and to Pembroke in my late 20’s little did I know both were showing me something I simply could not see……..could I hear it? Is that why both holidays are perfect in my memory, were the hills of Presili and the curved lands of Salisbury literally alive with the sound of music. Enjoy your thinking. X
