Perfects Fifths in Functional Objects

Above we see an Archimedes Spiral used to measure the Perfect 5ths shown in the pattern at the top. The Pentagon shape can be clearly seen. The lines around the outside show you the direction you take as you add more and more perfect fifths until you reach four sets of TCGA at the centre. Each of these rosettes is 210* away from the other on the spiral but if you consider the spiral to be an opened out piece of string you get the pattern below. They are still 210* apart and the pink ones remain 210* no matter which way you measure them so long as you move anticlockwise from first to second position. The green lines though become 150* if measures as though around one circle. On the rod the ticks remain 210* the X’s are 150*. Every other one is 210* then 150* until you reach the sharp notes then it hiccups and two 150* appear then back to alternating.

Now on a piano they are 7 semitones apart which is a perfect 5th no question of that but I find it interesting that they alternate 210* to 150* on the one circle pattern. 150* is all about questions whereas 210* provides the answers.

Looking down on the pattern it could be an Easter Bonnet with roses at each of the points or 7 domes reducing in size fitted on top of each other with a small hole in each of the points on the map. Then pour water in through the top and watch it fall down through the dishes coming out at the openings and creating a Perfect fifth waterfall.

So copper bowls on top of each other with a hole for the water that is poured into the top to escape. Stand it up and you have the shape of a Bee Hive………..so many shapes in our world we do not realise have connections. Enjoy your thinking. X
