Map 670 The 8 Petals of the Bagua

8 Petals

As you can see from the images above 8 petals can be created when we join the dots of the Bagua.

The standard set of the Bagua is as follows:

4 9 2
3 5 7
8 1 6

If you draw a curved line every 90* of the square from 5 centre out to a number on the edge then 90* or two spaces away to another number and then back to the centre. E.G. Number 5 curves to 1 which curves to 3 and then back to 5. Number 5 to 8 to 4 to 5 and so on creating a new petal with each connection.

Eventually you will create the 8 petalled flower above.

The clematis has many 8 petalled flowers for us to look more closely at for a symbol of all life itself.
