The Cubes and Crosses of 64 Codons of DNA


The cross's and/or cubes of DNA only four cubes are required and can be turned until
all 64 codons of DNA can be created. The first two are made up of only two colours
the latter made up of all four colours.


Cube A is made up of blue and yellow C – cytosine and G – Guanine there are 8 codons that can be made from this cube. CCC – GGG – CGC – GCG – CCG – GGC – CGG – GCC


Cube B is made up of orange and green T – tyrosine and A – Adenine there are 8 codons that can be made from this cube. AAA – TTT – TAT – ATA – TTA – AAT – TAA – ATT


Cube C is made up of all four colours Yellow G – Blue C – Orange T – Green A there are 24 codons that can be made from this cube. CTC – GAG – CCA – GGT – TGG – ACC – CTG – GAC – CAG – GTC – TGC – ACG – AGG – TCC – GTG – CAC – GGA – AGC – TCG – CCT – GCA – CGT – GCT – CGA.


Cube D is made up of all four colours Yellow G – Blue C – Orange T – Green A there are 24 codons that can be made from this cube. TGT – ACA – CAA – TTG – TCT – AGA – AAC – GTT – CTT – GAA – AAG – TTC – CAT – GTA – ATG – TAC – ATC – TAG – CTA – GAT – TCA – AGT – ACT – TGA.


In all cubes and crosses there are 6 off each T G A C.
