This is yesterdays version of a 36 part game of Soloman’s Temple. At one time I thought that was the least you could create all 64 codons of DNA in one pattern but now I realise it can be made in just 34. I wonder if it will ever go lower? For the moment though 34 is the least I can achieve. So below I have taken the first map above of 36 and continued to tinker with it until I could get it down to just 34. Many moves were required but I got there in the end.
The black dots are places that we cannot add onto if you try to add one on you will then create a Codon that is already included in the shape. So remember only one of each of the 64 codons can appear in the image but it can be read in any direction. For example TGC can also be read as CGT.
It makes me think the codons were the first and third letters are the same are something like a hinge when they are on a corner and they stop any more triangles being added without duplications. Enjoy your thinking x
