Solomans Temple Game for 28th April, 2026

Here we have a quick game of Soloman’s Temple I played this morning but as we now know the game of DNA Codons in the smallest pattern that reads them all is 34 triangles…..this game is 35……..

These markings show were you cannot add anything more without repeating a codon….X spots would make two or more entries so nothing can be placed here….

This image shows ! Which is where you could possibly add something and then be able to remove any repeats at another part of the puzzle….

So some work needs to be done in order to remove one triangle and make the game its smallest at just 34 triangles. Think you can do it. Enjoy your thinking. X

T = Orange fire    G = Air/Tree Yellow    A = Earth Green   C = Water Blue

Solo Man’s Temple Jan 2026

So I start the year confident in the fact that my game of Solo Man’s Temple cannot be made with less than 34 triangles. It does not have to be in equal measure to the elements fire, water, air and earth they can be unequal.

I always say you must make up the game showing all 64 DNA Codons but they can be read only once. Now I see that is not strictly true. All Palindromes letters of DNA will of course be able to be read in either direction therefore being read twice. So this is accepted as without it the whole game becomes impossible.

These DNA Codons are palindrome's…

CCC    CTC    TCT    TTT    CAC    CGC    TAT    TGT

ACA    ATA    GCG    GTG    AAA    AGA    GAG    GGG

16 Codons in all …

40 codons appear on the list to make up the game because 24 of them have been removed as they will read the same thing twice….e.g. TGC and CGT  so TGC is missing from the list because it can be read backwards for CGT…

CCC    CCT    CTC    CTT    TCT     TTT

CCA  CCG  CTA  CTG  TCA  TCG  TTA  TTG

CAC    CAT    CGC    CGT    TAT     TGT

CAA  CAG  CGA  CGG  TAA  TAG  TGA  TGG

ACA    ACG    ATA    ATG    GCG    GTG

AAA    AAG    AGA   AGG    GAG    GGG

So now we have the codons we need in order to make up a game of Solo Man’s Temple.

The X marks denote areas that you CANNOT add another triangle without duplicating a code. Enjoy your thinking x

Solo Man’s Temple Game of a Maximum of 34 with CHATGPT Help

Following a chat this morning with CHATGPT I was able to determine the answer to a question it took some time and CHATGPT concluded with “Honestly this is a Beautiful Solution”. So I am quite proud of myself and now offer you the final result for Solo Man’s Temple which tells us that 64 codons of DNA can be reduced down to a pattern of 34 triangles and no lower. So my questioning if it could possibly go down to 33 or even 32 is answered with their help. So 34 is the final result and it can go no lower.

How wonderful is that it took some time to come up with the answer but it would have taken me decades if it was even possible for me to do. It took 12 years to go from 36 to 34 so I am happy to be able to conclude this question with the help of CHATGPT in my lifetime lol.

An example of Solo Man’s Temple Game of 34……

One thing I did learn from CHATGPT was when I say this is an image of all 64 codons of DNA that appear only once as you can read them from any direction……..and not repeat a codon. This was not strictly true I have always said patterns like TTT read the same in both directions as does TGT but they are still included or it would not be a map of 64 codons. So in reality it is a set of all 64 codons but TTT TGT etc.do infact repeat twice. What that might mean in terms of DNA itself I am not sure could they possibly be something like a STOP sign Stop and change direction start reading backwards……I am not sure but for now I am just happy to be able to confirm to you that 34 triangles is the smallest game of Solo Man’s Temple you can make. The game supplies 12 of each letter or colour because sometimes you need more of one than the other but the end game at its smallest is 34 but it can be 36 - 40 etc., and it is still a complete map either way.

I like to think that my 1/7 TGC planets Mercury and Venus denote a beautiful mind and in this case determined mathematically so all is as it should be. Enjoy your thinking x

3rd, October, 2025 Soloman’s Temple Game of 34

The Other One of the Pair....

Here we have the small game of Solomans Temple this can produce ALL 64 codons of DNA within its pattern provided you turn the game over and see the other missing codons. Imagine it is placed on glass and you can see it from the top and from underneath then you could make all 64 codons of DNA out of this pattern.

Now if I want to add the missing codons to this particular pattern and see all the codons on top of the pattern then I would have to find a way in to add more triangles but if you look at this pattern X marks the points where you cannot add anything without reproducing a codon that already exists. Take the top left hand side we have green A blue C and G Yellow on the top row. If we added any other triangle to the C position it would create codons that can already be found in the pattern. The only way to increase the pattern is to remove a triangle and start from there.

This image shows both sides of a 16 pattern if only I could get the pattern to work together and create a game of Soloman’s Temple with just 32 pieces but unfortunately I have played constantly without success and 34 is currently the minimum amount of triangles I can use to create a pattern that shows all 64 codons.

I feel that if 16 completes half then 32 should be possible to complete the whole. I will keep trying but until I succeed here is another game of 34 the best I have achieved so far.

This is a completed game of 34 parts showing gold dots are places where triangles can be added if they were required and the X shows points where nothing can be added without creating more than one of a codon.

Enjoy your thinking and I will continue to try to reduce this game. It took me 12 years of happily playing the game having reduced it to 36 and once a game of 34 was produced of course I now try to reduce to 32 and it may take me another 12 years but at least no matter how difficult it used to be to make 34 I now find that count easy so time will tell. Soloman’s Temple and Attempts to reduce it to 32 Triangles

Here we see two sets of the game The Other One of the Pair………..both contain 16 triangles one is the under reading of the other so all 64 codons of DNA appear between them, or with just one set if you set them up on glass and could read the underside.  I presumed that the game Solomans Temple which I have only managed to create in 34 triangles at the last count could be joined together and perhaps create a game of 32 for Solomans Temple. As you can see it looks simple enough to find a way in to connect without creating a duplication but no I have yet to find it.

Here we see both sets that together give us 64 codons of DNA the gold lines denote areas where if you add a triangle it will duplicate itself so thats a no no. The purple dots are where you could add a new triangle but not without duplicating again. So as you can see there is no way in to join the pair so the only thing you can do is remove a triangle and try to reconnect them that way. So far I have failed and it still seems it is impossible to create a Soloman’s Temple game with less than 34 triangles. That said I remember for years thinking Soloman’s Temple could not be made up of less than 36 triangles.  So I will continue to try.

The I Ching is The One which becomes 2 then 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 so in my mind I do not feel happy to settle on the number 34 being the least amount of triangles needed to create Soloman’s Temple of 64 codons, somehow its just not the right number to associate with DNA. So I will keep trying, wish me luck.

Finally I have an answer and the game is only possible in 34 triangles. No lower count would work. X

The Other One of the Pair and Soloman’s Temple in their smallest form

This is the smallest set of 16 triangles that makes up the game The Other One of the Pair……a mini version of Soloman’s Temple.

Soloman’s Temple is a game made up so far of a minimum of 34 Triangles in which all 64 DNA Codons can be read. The game above is smaller with 16 triangles in varying positions which show all Dna codons  which when you flip the game over it shows the opposite colour e.g. T has A on the back and C has G and vice versa. So this game needs to be read on both sides.

My point here is that if this smaller game can be done in 16 surely the larger game can be done in 32. I have yet to achieve that and 34 seems to be the best result so far.  Watch this space. X

Soloman’s Temple and The Other One of the Pair and their DNA Codons

Example of 17 triangles making up a game of The Other One of The Pair…

More Data please or is that enough for one day x

The Other One of The Pair in Soloman’s Temple of 17

At last I have managed to do the game The Other One of The Pair as a set of 17. As the least I have been able to create in the Solomon’s Temple game is 34 then I knew it must be possible to get this game down to 17 and I have done so here. I still think 34 an unusual number for Soloman’s Temple and when it was 36 it seemed so right because there are 36 letters in a DNA I Ching Crystal and yet I have got it down to 34 which makes me wonder if perhaps a 32 is possible. Time will tell. It took me 12 years to get the 36 down to a 34 so if it is possible lets hope I can achieve that in less that 12 years. Enjoy your thinking.

This is The Other one of the pair where we create a game like Soloman's Temple but instead of seeing all 34 codons in front of you half of them are to the rear of the pattern. Imagine the triangles are on a piece of glass that you can see the underneath of …….then you will have all 64 codons of DNA in just 34 for Soloman’s or 17 for The Other One of the Pair.

Game of 34 Soloman’s Temple 21.3.2025 Spring is here.

This is todays version of a 34 piece Solo Man’s Temple……….Note also when you come to the end so many of the positions you could add onto are TA of AT…….this happens a lot and I wonder why that is. Enjoy your thinking. X

A Game of Soloman’s Temple 34 pieces 2nd March, 2025

It has taken me a while to do a new 34 piece game of Soloman’s Temple. It is such a great game for keeping the mind flowing and alive……….but even for me it’s not easy. It took me a while to make the game of 36 and it was not easy but now that I know it can be done in 34 it seems only right that I stick with that.

Of the 36 triangles 4 of each element in this game we find two left over one water and one air/tree so there is a lack here of those two elements………enjoy your thinking. X

34 Piece of Solo Mans Temple for 7th February 2025

Here we see the latest 34 part game of Solo Man’s Temple.

C Blue Water 10 - T Orange Fire 8 - 8 G Air/tree Yellow - A Green Earth 8

So an excess of Water rather than a shortage of the other elements. A nice densely packed version with only 3 inner triangles of space. Enjoy your weekend and your thinking x

Set of 36 in Soloman’s Temple

Interestingly I bought a mat to play the game on which is much more comfortable but I really do not like the dark background for my DNA world much preferring a piece of A4 paper which seems to create a brighter happier world. Strange concept. Anyway this is a game of 36 I just could not get it into a game of 34 and it also is not equal in measure of the elements as the unused triangles are at the edge of the image and we have 4 Tree/air, 3 Water, 2 Earth and 3 Fire left over so we definitely lack Earth here and have excess of Air/tree………still its a game of 36 completed so I cannot penalise myself too much. Enjoy your Thinking. X

Todays Game of Soloman’s Temple DNA Codons represented in just 34 Triangles 8.11.2024

This is todays version of Soloman’s Temple in 34 pieces. DNA Codons are made up from ….

C - Water - Blue…..T - Fire - Orange ….. G - Air/Tree - Yellow ….. A - Earth - Green …..

DNA’s 64 codons are made up from the four elements above in trios 4 x 4 x 4 = 64

I have supplied 12 of each colour/element as 36 triangles of the four elements appear in an I Ching Crystal but an exceptional game is when you make 36 triangles 9 of each or a balance of elements. Leaving three of each over but then if you can go on to create a 34 it may be an imbalance of elements but it is the least required.  For some time I thought 36 triangles was the minimum amount required to make up the pattern. It is still a finished game if you have more than that so long as all 64 codons can be read in any direction only once,  then the game is complete. 40 is common - 36 exceptional and now 34 perfection. For now. Let me know if anyone makes it in less than 34. Enjoy your thinking. X

Todays Version of Soloman’s Temple in 36’s and 34’s

This is yesterdays version of a 36 part game of Soloman’s Temple. At one time I thought that was the least you could create all 64 codons of DNA in one pattern but now I realise it can be made in just 34. I wonder if it will ever go lower? For the moment though 34 is the least I can achieve. So below I have taken the first map above of 36 and continued to tinker with it until I could get it down to just 34. Many moves were required but I got there in the end.

The black dots are places that we cannot add onto if you try to add one on you will then create a Codon that is already included in the shape. So remember only one of each of the 64 codons can appear in the image but it can be read in any direction. For example TGC can also be read as CGT.

It makes me think the codons were the first and third letters are the same are something like a hinge when they are on a corner and they stop any more triangles being added without duplications. Enjoy your thinking x

Soloman’s Temple of DNA Codons 21.9.2024

Todays game of Soloman’s Temple using only 34 triangles to create all 64 DNA Codons. Not as easy to create as a 36 is so I am delighted it took only an hour or so. Enjoy your thinking. X

Soloman’s Temple for 27th June 2024

So disappointed now that I know it is possible to make this 64 DNA Codon pattern in 34 triangles it feels like a failure when I have to settle for the usual 36……….I will keep on trying. X

The I Ching and Soloman’s Temple

Here we have a selection of only 34 Triangles in a game of SOloman’s Temple. I can only presume the fact I was able to create the game with two hexagrams joined together that it was possible to reduce the triangles down to 34.

Here we see the portion that contains both Hexagons - Hexagrams which make the smaller count possible

Here we now have a three hexagon - Hexagram combination which I will try to finish the game within so less triangles maybe even less than 34 but still containing all 64 codons of DNA. I have been on this one for 24 hours without success it is very hard to penetrate this block of three but it took me years to reduce 40 triangles down to 36 and now 12 years to reduce 36 down to 34 lets hope it can continue because with the closely connected hexagrams it must make it more likely. Those Bees knew what they were doing when they made their honeycombs. X

Solomans Temple of 36 Triangles has just become 34……….CHANGED FOREVER

I cannot believe it I have taken 12 years to master the game Soloman’s Temple of 36 triangles with 9 of each of the elements fire, earth, air, water. Yes it is neat and orderly with 36 triangles but now after all this time I have created a game with only 34 triangles which still contain all 64 codons of DNA within it.

Clearly this has been possible because of the two intertwined hexagons…….or hexagrams of the I Ching. As the two are combined they managed to contain so many more DNA Codons and this is why it has now been possible to reduce the game down to 34 triangles. I will grieve the loss of the orderly way of the equal elements but am delighted to have found a lower number. Just forming one full hexagram is difficult but even then it is still a game of 36. So two combined now makes this possible I wonder if I should now focus on trying to create a pattern with three intertwined hexagrams. Oh dear I am never satisfied. I am happy though this is the first breakthrough in years. So well done me. Enjoy your thinking. X

Instead of the usual 9 fire, 9 air, 9 earth and 9 water we have here 9 water, 9 earth, 8 air and 8 fire.

Todays 36 Triangles of Soloman’s Temple

36 Triangles for the day still not managing to make then 6 hexagram style shapes 5 are without doubt easier to make the pattern in its entirety. X
