We have here the circle of 12 the astrology chart then divided once more into three sections each making 36 different sections in all. I have also added the position of the planets in my birth chart to get the gist of how they may be working. A bit like a DNA I Ching Crystal 12 codons of 36 parts. The purple outer lines are to denote the four notes repeating in a row.
Take my Venus in Aries it is in the first section so musically I should be playing C most of the time but when I feel flat I may resort to playing the musical note B. As Venus is in the first section of Aries it is not close enough to ever take on the qualities of Taurus. What might that mean for me….
Musical note C fully Venus in Aries….Balanced Venus fully in the moment bold and passionate in nature with an assertive energy in relationships. Venus with the ruler of Aries Mars makes for a nice combination. A certain amount of excitement and intensity in partnerships. A strong, independent woman.
Now is I am feeling melancholy I may find my C has become B by adding the flat marker to it. So Pisces Venus woman will operate differently. I may be more about unconditional love, empathy, romantic and more artistic than Aries. Pisces Venus is one of the best positions I should have been born a little earlier to have my Venus in Pisces but at least I know if I calm my enthusiasms and become more gentle in my love life I could have a different experience altogether.
Lets take a look at Neptune in Libra sitting in the 3rd section of the sign. Playing the note G but also it can sharpen itself and become G# in Scorpio. How might that make for differences….
Neptune in Libra Playing G…..Seeking out peace, harmony and beauty in relationships, peace not war would me my motto. If I sharpen myself I could pursue Intimacy, truth and all that is hidden. Spiritual pursuits can be apparent but as also can be the darker side of things in life. Sounds like an interesting combination. Or Yikes I am not sure.
I suspect keeping to the musical note you have been given is a good thing maybe flats or sharps can add some spice but not the strongest version of you. Or perhaps pick and choose the parts and skills you want to have and disregard the rest.
When I look to my Mercury in Pisces in the 12th house its quite an odd one for I am playing the note B as a Pisces and Mercury is in the first section of Pisces so when I flatten it it becomes more Aquarian A# and yet it is still playing the note B………so when we flatten notes nothing very much changes….
Pisces Mercury can be imaginative and empathic but can also cause confusion when trying to communicate. Creative and often working with abstract thought which is probably why nobody understands them till they break the code……if I flatten that note from B to A# I become more intellectual, innovative and enjoy working in groups. Unconventional thinking and embrace change and something new, shared goals work well. I think my Pisces Mercury denotes me well I can confuse people with my thoughts as anyone reading this blog will attest.
So take a look at your planetary positions and how they may be flattened or sharped to give you what you need. Enjoy your thinking. X
