Nine Star Ki 7/9 GAT Hexagram - 38 Life is a dance

A homage to the dancing feet of Andy Warhol's art.

The I Ching and Andy Warhol's Dancing Feet

The dancing feet in the images by Andy Warhol inspired me to think of The I Ching in the same way. Sadly I don't have samples of feet so I have used hearts but imagine them as footsteps.

The top Hexagram is Hex + 47 Exhaustion.............of course to dance a diagonal line is to take the longest route............Hexagram 47 is Nine Star Ki 1/7 moving in the direction of the South West..... it contains a broken line, solid line, broken line, solid line, solid line, broken line............if I were to take these steps I would have to hop between steps four and five. This dance is on the up.

The lower dance is Hex -38 Opposition ........ to dance this line is to go in the direction of the West a horizontal - emotional line........... Hexagram -38 is Nine Star Ki 7/9....it contains a solid line, solid line, broken line, solid line, broken line and solid line......if I were to take these steps I would have to hop between steps one and two. I would remain on the same level throughout.
