The sections of a 1/7 Grid in Nine Star Ki - part 1

Drawing up the same 1/7 map (I stick to it because its mine but also so you don't have too much to take in) 

Ed with the Tree/Air energy of numbers 3 and 4…

Then I added number 1 energy water as water supports tree/air energy…

We begin to see the makings of a game of Ludo here……..then I added Fire Number 9 energy as tree/air supports fire…

So now we have air/tree, water, fire energies …..lets add some Earth number 8…

Still no sign of the other two ludo positions maybe thats to be found in other nine star ki codons….lets add 2 Earth energy…and then continue on the next page because it seems this is the maximum it can take. X

Directions of Nine Star Ki in a One Year in 729 Pieces

 Here we see a map of Nine Star Ki with 729 pieces the centre of the chart is red 1/7 and the second number 7 is shown by a red triangle pointing in a south west direction. Each number has its own direction but only when based on the number one as the main nine star ki year number.

1 Is a circle as it is a centre number when 1/1 is the nine star ki all other numbers come out of it. 2 is a yellow triangle facing North West - 3 lime green facing West - 4 dark green facing North East - 5 gold facing South - 6 silver facing North- 7 red facing South West -  8 orange facing East - 9 purple facing South East. 

I use 1/7 often because it is my Nine Star Ki therefore an artwork that matches up to me. Patterns within patterns you can spend a lot of time just picking them out. Enjoy your thinking x 

The Directions of all Nine Star Ki (81) Baguas Condensed into 9

 

Here we see an image of a Nine Star Ki Bagua for 1/1 at the centre I have put a little pointer on the arrow so you know north from south which I don’t usually do …

Here we see 9 cards with the lines of direction on them again based on 1/1 at the centre in the image at the top I am able to connect them more closely but the cards show separate nine star ki numbers and why will become clear…

Card Number 1/1…

Number 1/1 appears like the very sunshine with light being thrown out in all directions……perhaps wherever this is in a chart many opportunities will be pouring out for you. Whilst this is a 1/1 card it is exactly the same for 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, 5/5, 6/6, 7/7, 8/8 and 9/9. So the needs of 9 Nine Star Ki cards can be met with just one. The direction of this card is all 8 directions. 

This is the card for 1/2 but also for 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/6, 6/7, 7/8, 8/9 and 9/1. All of these cards have a facing direction of South East to North West. 

This is the card for 1/3 but also for 2/4, 3/5, 4/6, 5/7, 6/8, 7/9, 8/1 and 9/2. All of these cards have a facing direction of East to West.

This is the card for 1/4 but also for 2/5, 3/6, 4/7, 5/8, 6/9, 7/1, 8/2 and 9/3. All of these cards have a facing direction of South West to North East.

DNA Codon CGC 1/1 Nine Star ki in a Map with 1/7 at its centre - Directional

 

A map of Nine Star Ki in 729 pieces a few double double ones in there too………now I have the template to make a rose version of the 1/1 Double Nine Star Ki Hex 29 CGC Dna codon pattern. Directions for Nine Star Ki 7/9 and 1/7 variations

The template for directions for the nine star ki 7/9 as we can see below its very different from 1/7. Quite often patterns remains the same but not in this case. 1/7 is very different….

Nine Star Ki Movement in a 1 and 9 year

We see here an 81 piece map of Nine Star Ki top one has 9/4 at its centre and for this month of March or December the turned inward energy can be seen in the South and the bottom image is 1/7 at the centre of an 81 piece bagua with its turned inward portion being in the South West. 

We know already that a 1 year is followed by a 9 year and they partner up……..6 musical notes in the 1 year and the other 6 in the 9 year. As the months progress through the years different nine star ki would be at the centre and the charging inwards element moves around the map. 

1/7 as Nine Star ki at the centre gives all directions turning inwards in the South West number 2 position potentially recharging the batteries of my Sheng Ki area but the whole of the 1 year is about staying put and not changing much whilst it moves around the bagua each month to a new position and then recharges that area. 

The map at the top shows the number area the direction …….starting with 1/1 in Feb/Nov it has 1/8 at the centre and the 1/1 position is in the East…….it continues to move around as the centre nine star ki changes. 

1/7 and 9/4 partner in March and December with 1/1 in SW 2 for the number 1 and South 9 for the number 9. 

If I remove any directional arrows and leave only those that come into or move out of the 1/1 position we have the following maps…….

The Lilac lines are energy coming out of the 1/1 and the blue lines are energy going into the 1/1. The directions removed must have an effect like pushing them in different directions but by removing the ones not directly connected we see just how much charging up goes on in any year of nine star ki. 

So if like me your Nine Star Ki is number 1 make no changes during this year settle down see what comes in for you but don’t be in a rush to make changes until February of 2027. Enjoy your thinking. X 

Nine Star Ki and Its Jerky Movement

 

I cannot help but return to the bagua of all nine energy numbers with their pushing and pulling in directions. …..

Then we observe how the crystal is formed by the pushing and pulling of the energy directions…..

The same rules apply to all Nine Star Ki codes……some are pushing in others pushing out……

So we have directions that push up meeting a lesser force pushing down on the left and on the right we have a greater force pushing down and a lesser force pushing up…….does this cause the whole thing to stand still or does the forces differences mean it is like little jerky movements that push up a little and down a little repeatedly and keeping the whole thing in motion. This pattern puts the force on the South East and North West Axis as it will for all of them………..not so much spinning on the earths axis of North East South West. Oh well it is what it is and perhaps it changes as those little pushes forward and back progress to another axis eventually.

The Crystal within the Bagua

 As we have now determined the bagua for all numbers 1 to 9 inclusive  work to the same pattern but the more I look at that pattern the more I can see this crystal shape from the bottom we push upwards and to the left North journeying to the East from the we move to the South East top left hand circle and the come together here before moving on to the South which is pushing down energy this time and out to the west or right before once again pushing down to the North West position were North is pushing right and West is pushing down and they come together in the right hand bottom corner. I can feel the movement as I look at it and so many other patterns in the Bagua create that crystal shape. As the Bagua grows in size so too will the crystal like a crystal within a crystal. Nine Star Ki and Protecting its Centre

 

Here we have the nine star ki Bagua of 27 parts the centre colours Blue the 2nd row red, third row green, fourth row purple and outer rows yellow. The little fishes turning inwards are shown in white as directions that are turning into the circles bringing energy within and three of them marked with a white star have energy coming into the circle and also going out of it. The centre piece is only giving out energy and I wonder if thats the time when your number is at the centre and many many opportunities present themselves because your are bursting with energy to give out to your new ideas. The lesser blue circles are giving and taking or acting as receivers or transmitters. Notice how the centre is fairly well protected. 

The white arrows are closing off entry to the centre with only two points able to get through to the middle coming from North and South or top and bottom. So that third layer is very protective of centre.

Nine Star Ki - Sigil of Saturn and its directions

Nine Star Ki through all Nine numbers………..

Here we have a grid showing the direction energy takes in a Nine Star Ki year and Month……for example the numbers across the top relate to the month number and the numbers down the side relate to the year numbers.

So my own 1/7 Nine Star Ki I would go to the month number 7 then come down the the year number 1 and that arrow will show me the direction of my energy which in my case is North East to South West. The same rules apply for all numbers Month position first then down to year number and you have your best direction or Sheng Ki. 

Here we see a map of the direction that energy takes in a Nine Star map of 27 parts…… no doubt it will work the same way in maps of 81 and so on……

So this map incredibly never changes no matter what number is at the centre the directions remain the same. So put 1 at the centre 2 in the North West, 3 in the West, 4 in the North East, 5 in the South, 6 in the North, 7 in the South West, 8 in the East and 9 in the South West and your back at the centre. Change that number to 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9 and the same positions of the directions will hold. 

Thats because the directions are solid and never change but when the nine star ki changes it still moves in that same list of directions. 

E.G.    7 at the centre as the month number and 9 as the year number 7 at the centre moves North West to 8 then West to 9 and this gives us a direction for 9/7 as west facing. Which is is in this image……so change the centre number from 1 to 9 and that is your month number seek out the year number next and that gives you your facing direction or Sheng Ki in Nine Star Ki directions. 

How easy does that make seeking out your direction when the map never changes only the numbers at the centre. 

This movement is called the Sigil of Saturn…..who of course is the star turn on Earth and as the nine star ki chart of 9 squares has 3 of Saturn so the name is associated with it. Enjoy your thinking. X  

The Connections Between Nine Star Ki numbers 1 and 9

 We are coming up to a new Number One year in February of 2026 so here are a few maps to help you work your way through it all…..

First we see the position of the Year and Months March 2026….the nine star ki numbers and their positions and the DNA Codon letters that applies to each of them……..the number 1/8 - 1/7 and 1/6 all repeat twice to make up the 12 months of the year. 

Firstly March 2026 ….we see that most energy is above the equator water and fire dominating here with 12 each and Earth and Air have only 6 each below the line. 

Then we have the 9 year that comes after 2027 again starting from March so it pairs up with the bagua above. 1 and 9 share a relationship you can see that number 1 provides 6 musical notes and number 9 provides the other missing six together they make a partnership, so lets look at ways in which they can relate to each other. 

Note in this 9 year the switch with Water 7 and Fire 5 above the ground and 12 each for Earth and Air are now below ground….

Below is a map showing the pairings of 1 and 9…..

As we know in DNA Codons they partner with each other too A with T and C with G so note here how 1/8 CAT matches with GTA the opposite letters…..

When it comes to numbers they have relationships too they can vary but here we see the following…

We see those pairs above and we also see the pairings of A with T and C with G etc., when it comes to the number 2 is does have a relationship with the number 6 in many ways but here 6 partners 5 and 2 stands alone ….the irony of that lol. So we see the pattern of partnerships with numbers 1 and 9 let’s see if the directions each takes has a pattern….

We see here the variations on directions …

Some directions are centred together perhaps creating some sort of worm hole…… (1) some take just one direction for the pair (5)…….some create a crucifix pattern….(3)….and some form an X (3). 

I see a form of Rosen bridge going on between them as they share energies maybe they play out together in the centre for the 2 full years. The 2 year works alone. The other partner up 3with 4, 5 with 6, 7 with 8. 

The same rules appear to apply to all 9 years of Nine Star ki. 

Together 9 ad 1 work as a team………like an egg timer flipped over Number 1 plays out first followed by flipping the timer and number 9 then plays out. Each of the pairings seem to work the same way. There is always another one of the pair…………Number 2 alone has no partner. 

Lets hope peace prevails in our next water year which is then followed by the fire of the Number 9. X

The Sheng Ki of the 1/7 Nine Star Ki TGC DNA Codons of The I Ching

 So now we have had a closer look at the double numbers we are left with as many questions as answers. Lets focus on the 1/7 TGC Bagua in this case for March 1954……..1 Year 7 Month 8 direction.

1/7 Nine Star Ki at the centre and it moves throughout the year showing the Sheng Ki or best direction for 1/7 when it is in the centre a is facing South West. This being the 9 part chart. 

Here we have a map showing the chart from an 81 piece perspective or 9 x 9 smaller charts put together.

What is show here is the directions of each of the positions and once again we remain with the bigger picture also having a Sheng Ki in the South West but in the centre 1/7 it has three arrows of energy pointing towards it in the bigger chart all 8 directions are taking aim at this South West corner thus I presume giving it great power and strength. So for me at least sitting facing or sleeping with my head towards the South West would be a good idea. The South West is my Power House.

The South West direction is usually the position of the number 2 which is all about relationships, love and marriage as opposed to romance of the 7th house this is a long term plan. Feminine energy, Jin, stable, nurturing and associated with long term wealth. Number 2’s come in pairs and are associated with the Earth element and supported by the element Fire. Motherly love and long term prosperity get rich quick schemes are not for number 2’s they like to plan well into the future. Late summer and early autumn energy abounds or that peaceful time midafternoon between 2 and 3 pm where you can get much done before the end of the day.  

Sheng Ki is arising or the production of something…..

Sheng is that which can produce something……..

Ki or Qi is the matter that is produced or the result of something that is coming into existence. 

So a lot of the good things in my life will come through this portal of the 2nd house or South Westerly position of my chart………..that all sounds rather wonderful fire supporting earth but earth also transforms water or changes it in some ways so make sure to avoid muddying the waters. 

Fire supports Earth - Earth Supports Metal - Metal supports water…….so if the Earth production creates metal energy it will be more supportive of water otherwise Earth can be destructive of water. The best way water can handle the possibility of too much water on the Earth leaving is a sodden mess is to plant trees. Water supports tree energy which supports fire which supports Earth so now we are back were we started and if all 5 elements support each other then life will go along quite nicely the controlling and destructive energies don’t get a chance to jump in. So as a water person myself I must plant trees if I know what is good for me.

Nine Star Ki and their Directions

 So here we have a template for once again my own Nine Star Ki DNA Codon 1/7 TGC at the centre of an 81 piece Bagua……..

This particular image shows that in a 1/7 centred chart the South West facing direction if the most important as in the south west position is has 8 arrows piercing its sun…molecule, cell, whatever you want to call it energy turning inwards and yet the arrows create a star like shape or flower with petals on the outer edges. The other blue circles are also 1/1 double numbers but they are only being pierced from three or one arrows although if we expanded the board to 27 x 27 that might change. 

The arrows are all moving in the direction their own particular nine star ki would move N/S E/W SW/NE or SE/NW and vice versa. I wonder when if we expand it to 27 x 27 and so on it would repeat any of these shapes shown here. What a beautiful mosaic floor it could make. 

I googled in what way does 9 star ki and DNA Codons relate….google told me they DO NOT…..hmmmm maybe we shouldn’t believe everything we read on the internet. X

DNA Codons - Nine Star Ki Directions

 

Each section of this direction map has nine star ki numbers 8 times…….there is no mention of the number 5 in this map or indeed in The I Ching. 

North and South go together as do 1 and 9 lets see what other patterns we can find between all the numbers…..

North/South 1 & 9…from outer to centre…

ATG    9.4 interestingly the start point being North and it begins with Methionine or MET the Start Button…..and its pairing is the STOP button TAG. So does everything begin in the outer north position and end there once more.

So observations here are that the number five positions contain the numbers 1 and 9 and they become the double numbers at the centre of the map. They do not appear as fives but as 1 or 9 in this case. The nine star ki that sit in the North and face South are to the left hand side and the Nine Star Ki that sit in the South and face North are to the right. As they flow into the centre of this map they cancel each other out. This is so often the case in The I Ching at the end of the day there is nothing to see because everything has been cancelled out.

The same patterns apply here the number 5’s are associated with the double numbers 2 and 8. The thing about this one we can see that in nine star ki an 8/5 and 5/8 will become and 8/8 and the 2/5 and 5/2 will become 2/2 this is useful information in the Bagua when we come up against number 5 and are not sure if it will become a 2 or an 8 in this case we know.

The number 5’s here are connected to 7 and 3 but we cannot determine whether 5’s would become 2 or 8 maybe we should just accept them as becoming part of the double numbers. So in a Bagua 5/7 would become 7/7 etc.,

Again the number fives only connect to 6 and 4 or the double numbers. 

Lets look more closely at the numbers 1 and 9 North and South…..

This gives us a closer look at the codons that move North East to South West and South West to North East…

We place the middle number at the centre in this case 2/5 made into a 2/2 and 8/5 made into an 8/8. Each of the 12 months of the year are represented and the decision to change the fives into either 8 or 2 is made in order to make sure all months are represented. So we see how the centre numbers with their placement of number 5 determines that five is indeed the centre. The five will be changed into either 2 or 8.

The 64 Bagues and Their Directions and relationsbip to number 5

 

Here we see the Directions Map of Nine Star Ki and The DNA Codons of The I Ching. I am focussing on my own 1/7 Bagua to show how all codons and Nine Star Ki in any Bagua will ALL take the same direction as the centre code. 

96 - GTG     52 - X         74 - AGT

85 - X          17 - TGC     39 - GCT       All of these Nine Star Ki sit in the North East and Face South West

41 - CGA    63 - GAA    28 - CCT 

If you look to the marked section above all of these codes are in this same section. Starting on the outer edge with GTG. The codes that contain number 5 do not appear 5/2 becomes 2/2 CCC and 8/5 can only become 8/2 which does not appear in this section. CCA 8/2 appears in the opposite side of South West. 2/8 appears in the S.W. Side as 5/8 but shows in the North East side. So perhaps those 5’s are happier in their opposite position. 

So all 64 codons can appear at the centre of a Bagua and then all the other Nine Star Ki will face the same direction as the centre partnership. 64 codons 8 in each of the 8 sections.

The Well Being associated with the Double Number in Nine Star Ki

 Observations on the double numbers in a 1 year…….the same rules seem to apply in different positions for all numbers 1 to 9…..

So we can see here with my chart that 1/7 is at the centre then it counts down through the year…..

1/1 in March/Dec sits in the south west position which is also my Sheng Shi or best facing direction. The Number 5 is in the west which is the usual position of my month number 7. So my focus is on Centre, South West and West directions…..

Mathematically of course this may just be the way these numbers would fall nevertheless it seems worth noting.

The double numbers are associated with well being and positivity so maybe its not surprising that facing it creates a good vibe for us. 

A double number energy is turned inward whereas all the other directions take a different direction outwards. Perhaps its showing us that when we turn inwards on ourselves we may find the answers we are looking for. 

When you draw up the patterns for the double numbers alone they look like a dna ladder turning on an axis………The I Ching is so very simple once you see the patterns x
