The Directions of Nine Star Ki and the I Ching matching Self to shadow

Nine Star Ki Directions

When you take any grid of Nine Star Ki year and months numbers every set of numbers in all nine grids will be in the same sitting position and facing position as each other. So for me 1/7 at the centre followed by 2/8, 3/9, 4/1, 5/2, 6/3, 7/4, 8/5, 9,6 and back to 1/7 all sit in the North East and Face South west...

So for me the North East to South West is my Sheng Chi or best direction as it is for all the number combinations here. All of these numbers will be found in the north east sitting position of the Directions map. The move towards the South West on their journey but is the energy in the South West also moving towards them.......is the opposite Hexagram some sort of shadow self that you are forever seeking.......or spiritual energy you are attracted to as it is also attracted to you and you meet in the middle.....I am 1/7 on the second row so don't have too many levels to get through before I am at the centre my opposite 7/1 is in the same place on the opposite side of centre so as we move closer to each other we meet on the bridge at centre........or is the bridge what we are creating by moving towards each other........a bridge over the Abyss......together we are one........and from this centred position we can be creative and make something NEW come into the world.

All numbers match up to the expected opposite 1/7 with 7/1, 2/8 with 8/2 etc., but when it comes to the centred numbers they are seated opposite themselves so 1/1 is in the South facing North and so on. 1/1 is opposite 9/9 - 2/2 is opposite 8/8 - 3/3 is opposite 7/7 - 4/4 is opposite to 6/6............

Is life all about bridging that gap or Abyss at the centre. Earthly energies moving towards Heavenly energies and meeting on the bridge at centre.........it could be said 1/7 reaches out to 7/1 and the 7's cross at the centre with the 1's to the outer edges..........and the same applies for all numbers.....

The Energy of Nine Star Ki in the Number 1 cube

This is the face or template for the number one cube add to this all 6 sides and you have the cube for the number 1 element of Water at the centre. Now water is happiest with numbers 3, 5, 6 and 8 and less comfortable with numbers 2, 4, 7 and 9. 27 Bricks in all make up the whole cube.

During the course of the year with 1 at its centre the year is most balanced at centre with 1/1 in the month of September.

The positive months are when 3 and 8 are on the East/West axis in February and July......then 5 and 6 are on the North South Axis in April and May.

The less positive months are when 2 and 9 are on the South East/North West axis in May, January and April.... then 4 and 7 are on the North East/South West axis in March, December and June.

Note that 3,5,6 and 8 are at the cardinal points and 2,4,7 and 9 are at the corners of the cube.

  Would it be true of all numbers to say that they experience the most difficulty at the corners and easier energy emits from the centre points of North, South, East and West. The patterns of connection within the cube also denote triangular shapes the these angles perhaps because they are considered trines of energy rather than squares or oppositions.

It makes life so simple when we realise that we are all the same but different. x

The Cubes of Nine Star Ki and the Aspects it Creates

As we now know all nine star ki cubes of energy contain 27 cubes. No matter what number is at the centre they all conform to the same pattern 9 numbers on each of the 6 sides of the cube. North is connected to South which is connected to West. One faces North is another faces South......one faces West is another faces East.....but this pattern creates a triangle......they are all the same size but they don't appear to be because of the way we view them in the cube. This cube shows the triangles in red, the four corner connections in green and the centre crucifix in purple. No matter what number is at centre the pattern is the same but obviously the consequences are different because the elements /numbers are in different positions.

This shows the lines and patterns within the cube and how they appear to be different angles on the triangle when in fact they are all the same just looked at from a different perspective. How does it look without the cube to protect it.........

The Cube is like a membrane holding the dynamics together inside.

You begin to see the selfish gene in operation here number 1 water is controlling number 9 fire so that it cannot control 6/7 metal which is supporting the number 1 Water. They all help to control the energy that is trying to control it's source of creativity and support.

Now in a Nine Star Ki chart your relationships to other people will work in much the same way as these energies do. Number 1 matches to a number 7 and feels creative and supported by that relationship, particularly if 1 is female and 7 is male as the I Ching is big on the man supporting the woman of course in todays society it's not strictly necessary. So if a number 3 is in a relationship with a number 6 it does not mean it wont work just that there will need to be adaptations to their ways of being in order for it to work. You can learn a lot from a relationship such as this. That said if number 3 has a choice of number 6 or number 1 my advice would be to make life easier for yourself, choose number 1. Everything is about adapting and changing to fit the current circumstance and I hope that you enjoy every journey you embark on and learn something in the process.
