Map 6 Three Coins in a Fountain - DNA Crystals

Now we need to find a way to create the crystal combinations in line 5.

Let us start with the concept of three coins which we throw randomly to get a positive, heads side to the coin, or a negative tails side. These three coins will then create an I Ching trigram and from there we will go on to create many new things. I don't know about you but I'm I(t)Ching to start, you just need three coins.

Flip each coin separately or together. If you flip together read the coins from the left to the right as
they land.
A positive or heads coin creates a solid line known as Yang. ___

A negative or tails coin creates a broken line known as Yin. _ _

As an example three coins flipped as heads would create three Yang lines. (A)
Three coins flipped as tails would create three Yin lines (B)

A=         ___      B =      _ _
              ___                  _ _
              ___                  _ _

So if you flip three coins and get heads, tails, heads you would create a trigram that looks
like this:
                                   ___
                                   _ _
___ Associated with the number 9 Fire Element

Another example would be: tails, heads, heads:      ___
                                                                                 ___
                                                                                 _ _ Associated with 4 Tree

See Map  3 I Ching Lines for the format.

2      8       1        4    3     9      7     6
( Earth ) Water ( Tree )   Fire ( Metal )
_ _  ___  _ _   ___   _ _   ___   _ _   ___
_ _  _ _  ___   ___   _ _   _ _   ___   ___
_ _  _ _  _ _    _ _   ___   ___   ___   ___

You can see each set of three coins has now created a number and an element associated with
it. We can then throw three more coins in order to create another trigram which we then place on
top of the one we already have. Lets take an example...three coins thrown, tails, heads, tails. This
gives us the trigram number 1 associated with water. Then we throw three more coins, heads,
tails and heads, or the number 9 fire. We place three lines created by the coins in order starting
from the bottom and building up so the two trigrams are on top of each other. This is now called a
hexagram. Imagine you now have the elements fire and water together, this is an opposition or
controlling aspect but it's ideal if your a fireman! So Water will put out fire or keep it under control.
Having said that fire can be inspirational and warming so we don't always want water to come
along and douse our flames. The I Ching is all about creation and control and finding the best
ways for the elements to work for you.

I believe there to be three single crystals, one double crystal and a small diamond crystal that create
everything we know of and probably a lot we don't know about. Lets take another example and
create those crystals together. I will start us off with three coins creating heads, tails and heads.

This will create the trigram fire and then our next three coins create the same thing
so we have fire on top of fire.                ___
                                                               _ _ Fire Number 9
                                                               ___
                                                               ___
                                                               _ _ Fire Number 9
                                                               ___

Now I am thinking call the fire brigade 999............but wouldn't 911 be better? Those Americans

know a thing or two.

We create our first crystal with 9/9. Reproduce this hexagram but remove the top line, turn
it into its opposite and place it at the bottom of the hexagram. This will give you another hexagram.

You will now have the lines                 _ _
                                                              __
                                                             ___ Metal Number 7
                                                              _ _
                                                              ___
                                                              _ _ Water Number 1

Now you have two parts to our crystal, continue on removing the top, in this case yin line and
changing it to its opposite Yang and placing it at the bottom. Your next hexagram should be 9/4.
Continue until you have twelve hexagrams and the thirteenth would simply start the same crystal
over again.

So we start with the hexagram for 9/9 which creates 1/7 and so on to 9/4...1/9... 8/1... 3/9... 1/1...

9/8... 1/3...9/1...7/9...4/1...and then we are back to the beginning with 9/9. We have now formed our
first crystal. These numbers belong together and will never appear again in another crystal. You
have 64 hexagrams, 12 of which are in your first crystal. Now we need to find the other 52. Create
hexagrams either with 6 coins of by merely looking to see a set of two numbers that don't appear in
this first crystal. For example the first crystal contains 1/1 so lets start the second crystal with 2/2 as
it does not appear in crystal one.

2/2...3/2...7/2...6/2...6/3...6/7...6/6...4/6...8/6...2/6...2/4...2/8...and then you are back to 2/2 so your
crystal number two is complete.

Let us move on to create our third crystal and suppose we start with 8/4...2/9...2/1...3/8...1/2...9/2
...7/3...6/1...6/9...4/7...9/6...1/6...and then we are back with 8/4.

Crystal number four starts with 8/3...3/7...7/4...4/8...but you will find the next number to be
8/3 so this is a smaller diamond shaped crystal of only four hexagrams.

Finally our last crystal is known as the double as both crystals combine to work together.  We just have twenty four hexagrams to find now so in some ways you can work out what they are because that is all you have left to choose from. It creates two crystals but they work together as we will see later.

In the same way we create our next crystal 2/3...3/1...7/8...4/2...9/3...7/7...6/4...4/9...8/7...3/6...
1/4...8/8...and then back to 2/3.

Our final crystal starts at 8/2...3/3...7/1...6/8...4/3...9/7...7/6...4/4...8/9...2/7...3/4...1/8... and
back to 8/2.

So this is our map for the 6 crystals that make up all of our DNA.
