Map 4 Writings Ribbons or Threads of Life

Map 4 I Ching hexagram numbers in the DNA positions. As we know DNA runs in the 28143976 pattern.

I cannot weave the colours in the typed version but if you were to make strips of ribbon in each of the 8 colours twice. Place the first 8 ribbons in colour order in a vertical strip of lines. Then take the 8 others and weave them through horizontally. When finished you should be able to get an idea of the fabric of life design. I Ching looks incredibly difficult to understand but in this format it is simplicity itself.

This is the first thing you come across in I Ching maps and it is said that nobody has ever worked out the reason for the hexagram numbers being in this order. I find that hard to believe and am more inclined to think you wont be given the information, you have to work it out yourself.  I have to admit to spending some years trying to fathom it out. I drew lines number to number which produced nothing. Colour to colour at least made the fabric of life pattern and it was simple but even that didn't come for years.

Einstein says keep it simple and I should have listened earlier. You can play with the hexagram numbers yourself before looking at map five which I believe is so simple I was a fool not to see it many years earlier. Enjoy yourself if you work it out in hours rather than years please don't tell me it would be to hard to bear.
