TGC - 1/7 Nine Star Ki as an Image

Remembering that The I Ching is made up from 4 x 4 x 4 = 64 Codons It is easy to remember the format of TGAC as it moves around the quadrants so we take a square and make it into four sections of TGAC. Then in this case for TGC we move to the Fire Quadrant in the top right hand corner. Second letter G we are still in the fire quadrant but cut it once more in 4 sections and G is the bottom right corner of the fire quadrant. Third letter is C which is still in the Air quadrant of the fire section but this section is now also divided into four and the top left hand side is C. So you can take any three letter codon and work out where it is in the I Ching this quickly. T fire quadrant G Air section of the Fire quadrant and C water section of the air section within the Fire quadrant. Phew. Now you can work out quickly the position in the I Ching and the Nine Star Ki numbers.

So TGC is top right, bottom left, and top left of the Fire quadrant.
