The I Ching Murano Chandelier

This image starts at the bottom with the 2/6 tag and spreads out until it reaches the top which is a diagonal line across the I Ching from 2/2 to 6/6........the line across the top shows only one colour because the other colour is on the other side and all the numbers across the top are doubles.... 2/2, 8/8, 1/1 etc., this image can be turned around so the bottom reads 6/2 and all the nine Star ki’s here are reversed. They are mirror images of each other..... so my own Nine Star Ki 1/7 appears in the fourth row up from the bottom and when turned it will read 7/1 ......this would make a wonderful Murano chandelier of all 64 codons of DNA that makes up our lives. Why Murano you might ask well to be the best you must choose the highest quality, why settle for less. A pair of wall chandeliers would show all of them in one glance. Sometimes turning DNA into everyday objects is the easiest way to make them understandable.

Note also this image could be of cubes......1/7 appearing on the face of the cube with its top hidden by the cube above it....... in order to produce all 64 codons of DNA in letters only four cubes are required I wonder how many cubes we would need to produce all of the nine Star Ki codes x

The I Ching Chandelier of DNA Codons - Nine Star Ki

Here we have a map of 32 codons of DNA shown as Nine Star Ki numbers. Across the top is a half pattern because the other half is folded over onto the other side of the map. This enables us to flip the map and show the other 32 codons of DNA. The halves across the top are repeat numbers of 2/2, 8/8, 1/1, 4/4, 3/3, 9/9, 7/7 and 6/6.

In this first map 1/7 appears which is my DNA codon TGC (4th row from the bottom)  but when you turn the map over you get 7/1 AGC if you were to hang the chandelier as one part of a pair you could turn it over and hang the other chandelier and thus would see all 64 codons of DNA and all 64 Nine Star Ki variations. Five does not exist in I Ching world so would be substituted for 2 in males and 8 in females.

Then we flip it over to produce the other 32 codons........(the top row reads the same way on both sides)

As a chandelier we would pair them alongside each other but you could also see them as a
reflection of themselves as above so below.........

Again this can be folded over onto itself and would need to be flipped again to see its opposites. Notice how Earth runs down one side and Heaven the other with life going on inside the diamond
shape............a pyramid above and below ground.

This version is softer more pastel a gentler world..............

It is also in 3D so feels more real and shapely this can also be flipped to return it to its start
point at 2/2.........Earth........this start point is 6/6 Heaven notice how Earth runs down one side
and Heaven the other...........with life going on in between.

This would make a wonderful Murano Glass styled Wall light...........anyone listening. x
