64 Hexagrams of the I Ching

                                             64 Hexagrams of The I Ching 

More patterns within patterns and as we know each Hexagram has its own characteristics but they also have a description that belongs to each of the twelves Hexagrams as a group. This is a break down of how each group of 12 also have a way of being ending on the final as a four. Find your Hexagram and add this information to your collection of information in Who I Am....

Hexagrams 1 – 12 inclusive is about strength and inheritance of primal energy in you that you are learning to control and release into the outside world at the right time. Balanced and harmonious release of strength. So the inheritance is inside you and you are part of the timeline it is to you to be ready to give the world what you have inside you at the right time. Lack of preparation could mean your not ready at 'the right time' and your inheritance dies with you.

Hexagrams 13 – 24 inclusive...proper timing and enhancement of strength. Mixing in the word without showing your illumination or strengths. Staying with the primal energy strengths and avoid conditioning. Going with the flow gradually offering guidance. Renewal of primal energy keeps you going. Timing right, abandon the false and returning to the true. Gradual progression through life and knowing what's required of the time. Inner vigilance. Acquiring stillness and clarity without ostentation. Return of conscious reality actively obeying the mind.

Hexagrams 25 – 36 inclusive Vigorous advancement of primal energy, attention to reality, seeing the good. (No. 29 is timeless). Restoring celestial within the mundane. Harmony both celestial and earthly. Restrained strength storing positive energy. Clear, sincere advancing illumination. Still and strong. Stop signs, following desires, loss of control. (No. 30 timeless) Illumination with inner openness. Single minded perseverance. Promoting positive energy. Act or not act at will. Transcending ordinariness. Concealing your illumination, yet conforming to the times.


Hexagrams 37 – 48 inclusive...refining the self. Mastering the mind, turning inwards. Preserving the primordial in the temporal. (Now) Repel external influence. Unifying vitality, energy and spirit. Refining body and mind. Focus on externals and it can create disharmony. Take right time to liberate primal energy from influence of conditioned negative energy. Enter Tao slowly, increasing positive and decreasing negative energy Climbing the heights cultivate character and nurture others.


Hexagrams 49 – 60 inclusive...become unselfish lose desires, turn inwards. Keep in order balance understanding and action thereby preventing danger by awareness. Progress, chaos followed by order. Stop Refine illumination, nurture by quietude. Seeing what's real stabilise and nurture illumination transcending the world. Inner and outer communion. Joy in practicing the Tao. Be joyful even in trouble, practice in trying circumstances always keeping to the Tao.

Hexagrams 61 - 64 inclusive....avoid obsession and negligence, become empty to seek fulfilment. Mutual completion of Jin and Jang. Forestalling danger to stabilise attainment. Being fulfilled but acting empty. Inner strength, outer yielding, inner firmness, outer flexibility. Refining self, repel the mundane wait for the time to restore the primordial celestial positivity.
