Map 163 Changing DNA to RNA

I have repeated the two most important maps so we can be fresh and use them again when you work out DNA to RNA.

With DNA we have many ways to portray the same thing so lets take a look at a sample.

- -
---    7
---              TGC       Cysteine NE/SW
- -               1/1 Crystal - Hex + 47
---    1         Fire Quadrant DNA
- -

In DNA lines 1 and 4 go together lines 2 and 5 and lines 3 and 6. So lets put them together again to give us those letters.

1 + 4 = ---                   2 + 5 = ---            3 + 6 = - -
            - - = T                         --- = G                  - - = C

So this is how we change numbers 1/7 to letters TGC. To change TGC DNA to RNA in a  simple way as follows.

Take the letter C look to the map above and move anticlockwise one space = A
Take the letter G look to the map above and move anticlockwise one space = T
             "         T                "                "                           "                              = C

Now remember that in DNA the lines 1/4 2/5 and 3/6  go together but in RNA instead of separating the lines they stay together. 1 with 2 3 with 4 and 5 with 6. So they will be placed like so.

- -
--- = A          So in RNA the letters change the way they are listed and the DNA letters
---                 move anticlockwise one space.  T becomes C, C becomes A, A becomes
- - = T           G, G becomes T.
- -
- - = C          The numbers become 2/7 so in RNA working with letters and lines is best.

I know that when I describe these things it seems clear enough to me but I am not called the Rambling Rose for nothing and should you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I will add a chart for RNA which shows the same letters but T becomes U  TGC  1/7 becomes UGC but CTA is 2/7 in DNA  its hardly surprising errors occur in transcription.
