The Aspects

and the

Shapes they make

The aspects form 8 different triangular shapes positioned at different points around the circle of a chart making 64 different positions in all. No two codons have the same position although many have the same aspect shapes.

The Grand Trine...120* x 120* x 120*

The grand trine appears four times in the four corners of The I Ching map. A grand trine in Water CCC, a grand trine in Fire TTT, a grand trine in Air/tree GGG and a grand trine in Earth AAA.

TTT works from the 1^st, 5^th and 9^th houses

AAA works from the 2^nd, 6^th and 10^th houses

GGG works from the 3^rd, 7^th and 11^th houses

CCC works from the 4^th, 8^th and 12^th houses

So whilst they are all equilateral triangles they are operating through a different element. They are all born with a huge talent and thus maybe take it for granted, they can be too laid back and let this talent slip by. Isnt life grand.

The Grand Trine …...life is Grand

The Alternator...

This aspect has a back and forward feeling to it, alternating energies, working, playing as long as you finish what you start before you fall back into play you will be able to achieve your goals. The corner where the two lines meet is the outlet for this energy which varies from codon to codon. Work hard and then rest is fine because you know how to generate the work and it must be done before you fall back into easy ways, thats the key to your success as is the outlet or house the blue corner points to. The alternator changes between two contrasting conditions, there is no happy medium here. Find that balance between the two. Only when your engine is running will you be recharging your battery, then you can take that energy and run with it, have fun with it, but you need to return to work and activity in order for those batteries to be recharged once more. Become too laid back and you won’t have the energy to do anything.

The Worker...

The Worker is also known as the T square three red aspects, busy, busy, busy, tension can become bottled up and will find it's release in the corner where the two shorter lines meet or at the right angle. So much active energy it can be difficult to find any peace, you may become overactive, doing something all of the time. There is the potential for ADHD symptoms or similar because of the inability to relax and get some peace and rest. You are hard working though and can achieve a great deal if you don't allow yourself to become burnt out. Find ways to relax, hobbies are often a good release you are working but it won't feel like it quite so much. The house where the two short red lines meet could be the answer to the release of that energy. Make sure you get physical exercise as well as mental these energies need to be used or they can build up and cause other problems.

The Ruminator....

This can be a volatile, emotional energy, creating increased stress and anxiety levels, agitation can be released through the house at the point where the two green lines meet. Learn to control the stressful situations in your life, take control, don't over think them. Once you get control over this active thinking energy you can bring about spells of originality and creativity and much can be achieved from it. Intelligence used intelligently. Risk takers can be found here who believe in their own abilities and will benefit from being able to absorb so much information which they can later put to good use. They will go on a journey taking them to the edge and beyond pushing back boundaries that previously existed, for example as an athlete breaking previous records, a scientist taking a step further into the outer field finding new plants growing the likes of which have never been seen before. You get the idea, you are going to the edge...feel the fear but take one step at a time, assess, reassess but please keep on going something new is about to be discovered.

The Magician...

The magician or projector......the all seeing eye. Imagine the eye at the apex point where two green lines meet looking at what is being played out on the blue screen, can create visionary, imaginative flashes of light, those moments where the light goes on and you can see what is required, they make good storytellers and they have the imagination to see almost anything. Sometimes called The Finger of God because there is a karmic feel to things when suddenly it feels like as though your life has been stirred up, when things settle again you can see what direction you should take. Also known as the Blessed in Hebrew. Is the eye showing you your direction in life. See what you can pull out of this magicians hat, Merlin tells us what we believe is true, believe it and it is so. What more could you ask of life that the power of creative visualisation. If it is conceivable in the mind it is possible to manifest. Of course that makes it vital you conceive of positive outcomes.

The Lecturer...

There are large lessons to be learned in life that come up for you time and again until learned. There is a karmic feel to them and they might seem like hard work but once the lesson sinks in the rewards will be great and definitely worthwhile. Think about what comes up for you time and again and learn to handle it differently. It may well still come up but your way of coping will make all the difference. Lessons of a higher nature perhaps spiritual or connected to law, philosophy, even your in laws. You have the ability to work, rest and play, think, act and manifest. There is much to be gained here if you listen to the lecture. A lesson with a teacher will be easier to learn because the Teacher is in control, in a Lecture the level of work you put in is down to you, you either win or fail. Your choice.

The Teacher...

You specialise in something in particular. There is much learning to be done but you will enjoy the learning purely for the sake of learning. Not so much of a karmic feel to the Teacher as there is to the Lecturer. You can work, rest and play, think, act and manifest but not on such a grand scale but with more ease. Perhaps being a teacher is a natural progression for you. Learn something, teach someone else. Like second nature to you to pass things on. Learning with the Teacher is easier than the Lecturer because you have someone checking your progress, live and learn.

The Thinker... this aspect is searching and wanting to absorb as much information as it can, sometimes you can get lost in all those thoughts. You are a dreamer and thinker, you can make things happen in your mind. The green corner is the outlet for your energies and the house position will give you more information. Which of course you will adore. You have no time for rumination you are far too busy absorbing everything you can, your mind will be fully engaged in seeking out information and leaves no room for anything else to get through. Intelligence in motion. What you focus on is what you create but it is also how it makes you feel. Sensitivity likes to focus on good things. Make sure you find the energy to manifest these thoughts as they are attracted to you in their desire to be born, don't let them down by moving onto another thought with taking any action. You wont rush into action, that I know because you will want to have looked at this thought from every angle, adapted it and made it the best it can be before you set it free into the world.

So don't forget to check out the position on a zodiac chart for these aspects but if you are more advanced you might want to put them in the position on your own crystal as see how they pan out too. Are they positioned in the top part of the crystal, or the lower parts, do they stretch across top and bottom and so on. Observations can give you more answers, or more questions.
