Lets take an example of 15^th March 1954.......having checked the year numbers I am a 1 Water Year so I move to the column with the number one in it and look for March 15^th. Which gives me a 7 month. So now I know I am a 1/7 in Nine Star Ki. 1/7 creates the DNA letters TGC as shown above.

Example... 26^th, October, 1964...check year numbers this gives a number 9. Then look above for column 9 and then October 26^th and you get the month number 6. So this date gives us a Nine Star Ki of 9/6 and DNA letters of GTG
