64 Codons of DNA in just Four Cubes

Four Cubes
to create
all of Life



We have 64 hexagram of DNA a combination of three letters chosen from four. C, T, G and A.



The face of the first cube is all yellow for GGG and the rear of that cube is all blue for CCC.

From this one cube the following 8 codons can be made.......

GGG   CGC   CCG   GGC
CCC    GCG   CGG  GCC

Eight codons making the amino acids Glycine x 2, Proline x 2 Arginine x 2 and Alanine x 2.

The face of this second cube is all green for AAA and the rear of that cube is all orange for TTT.

From this one cube the following 8 codons can be made.....

AAA   TAT   TTA   ATT
TTT   ATA   TAA   AAT

Eight codons making the amino acids Lysine, phenylalanine, tyrosine, Isoleucine x 2, Leucine, Stop Ochre and Asparagine. One Stop in this mix.

The face of the third cube has a yellow, green and yellow side for GAG and the rear of that cube is blue, orange, blue for CTC.

 
From this one cube the following 24 codons can be made.....

Cube one is all yellow to the face and all blue to the rear, then cube three has yellow to two sides of the face but one green added and its rear has two sides in blue and one in orange.

Cube two is all green to the face and all orange to the rear, then cube four has green to two sides of the face but one yellow added and its rear has two orange sides and one in blue.

All 64 codons can be created by the movement of these four cubes. So simple. x
