Cube
one: all yellow on the face and all blue to the bottom and rear.
Cubes
two: all orange on the face and all green to the bottom and rear.
Cube
Three: ATC, green, orange, blue on the face, CAT blue, green, orange
to the bottom and rear. (Sorry don't have the IT skills to colour
in
cubes 3 and 4)
Cube
Four: TGC, orange, yellow, blue on the face, CGA blue, yellow, green
to the bottom and rear.
DNA
likes to make choices from four. It can make a choice from the four
cubes above to create any one of the 64 versions of amino acids or it can make choice from the letters T, G, A, C.
So
if you want to create a building block of DNA you can use any of the
above four. Note that the opposite side of the cube does not conform
to the T = A and C = G format but to the format of the I Ching
Hexagrams were if only G and C are in the cube they will swop to
their opposites but if there is a T or A in the cube only the T or A
will swop the C and G will remain the same.
